REPUBLIC DAY - 2011

We are celebrating the 62nd   Republic day. Our land is recognized as the largest republic and looked up to by other countries. We Indians are well aware of the prevalent situation of our country. Let us make the prayer of Tagore our earnest prayer on the 62nd anniversary.

“ Where the mind is without fear and the head is held high,
  Where knowledge is free,
Where the world has not been broken up into fragments by narrow domestic walls,
Where words come out from the depths of truth,

Where tireless striving stretches its arms towards perfection,
Where the clear stream of reason has not lost its way into the dreary desert sands of dead habit,
Where the mind is led forward by thee into ever widening thought and action

Into that heaven of freedom my father, let my country awake!”
Lord and Ruler of all hearts
Free us from all that humiliates the dignity of our nation.
Restore our land and people to its original nobility and spirituality.
