The World Post Day

World Post Day is celebrated each year on 9 October, the anniversary of the establishment of the Universal Postal Union in 1874 in the Swiss Capital, Bern. It was declared World Post Day by the UPU Congress held in Tokyo, Japan in 1969. Since then, countries across the world participate annually in the celebrations. The Posts in many countries use the event to introduce or promote new postal products and services.

We praise You, Lord for the services of the Postal Department up to now. For their commitment, hard work and trustworthiness .Now things have gained speed and the world has shrunk not to a village but to a locality. At a touch we get in touch with the person and the message is delivered. Though a blessing to be valued yet on this day, we gratefully acknowledge the tedious services of the postal agents of the past and of the few at present for their reliable service.

Only trust in  persons can buildup relationships.
