Pongal Reversed !

What you sow is what you reap is an age old saying. The reality this Pongal season is different. The farmers are loaded not with yield but with pain, loss and debt as a result of Thane. The estimated loss is around 150 acres of cashew crops, 10,000 acres of sugarcane and endless extant of fields ... More than three to four decades of hard and consistent labour has been uprooted, devastated. If the clearance of damage is dreaded how tough would be the restarting after the loss of resources.

Today is also the world day of Immigrants and Refugees which again reminds us of the lot of people uprooted due to political, religious and natural calamities.

The world day of religions remind us that love is the basis and end of all religions. Let this love unite our hearts to feel with and do our mite to better the lot of people pushed to live in helpless and undesirable conditions all over the world.

However, we rise above the dark shades of life and happenings and continue to believe in the daily sunrise, manifestation of God’s unfailing love.

                  Pongalo Pongal !
