The inauguration of St. Joseph’s Matric. Hr. Sec. School, Sathyamangalam

Introduction

The beginning of the New Academic year 2024–2025 marks a significant milestone in the history of St. Joseph’s School, Sathyamangalam, with the upgradation of the Matric High School to Higher Secondary. This initiative is aimed at nurturing young students in the path of Truth & Love, fulfilling the long-awaited dream of both past and present students.

First Batch of Higher Secondary Students

The school celebrated its first-ever batch of Higher Secondary students as they took their first steps into the campus for their inaugural day of Higher Secondary Education. The atmosphere was filled with joy and enthusiasm as the eleventh-grade students, dressed in special attire, were welcomed with a Red-Carpet reception by the entire student body, teaching and non-teaching staff, parents, and PTA members, who were the special invitees of the ceremony.

Ceremonial Welcome

The new Higher Secondary students, along with the special invitees, were led to the Assembly Hall, greeted by a round of applause from the gathering. They were presented with roses and mementos as a token of welcome. The ceremony began with a prayer song, invoking God’s blessings, followed by a motivational speech delivered by one of the PTA members.

Recognition of Academic Achievements

Another highlight of the event was the recognition of the Board Exam toppers and centum-holders from the 2023–2024 academic year. These achievers, along with their parents, were invited to the stage and honored with awards. It was a moment of pride and joy for the entire school community as they celebrated the hard work and success of these students

Special Classroom Celebration

The Higher Secondary students were then led to their classroom, which had been specially decorated for a fresh and auspicious start. To commemorate the beginning of their academic year, they were invited to cut a cake, while the sisters, PTA members, and staff extended their blessings and good wishes for their new academic journey.

Gratitude

In conclusion, the school expressed its heartfelt gratitude to God Almighty, acknowledging His blessings and guidance. Special thanks were extended to the Regional team, particularly Sr. Mary John, for their instrumental role in making this milestone possible.
